About Us

The CivPol Alumni Association (CAA) is a fraternal organization that facilitates the continuing bond between officers who have served their country through participation in overseas missions. The Civilian Police Mission is one of the most challenging and honorable jobs that a Law Enforcement Official can participate in during their career. The CAA seeks to gain formal recognition for those who have died in the line of duty, and support all officers and their families before, during and after deployment.

The CIVPOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION  is a non-profit organization founded in 2007.

What is a CivPol mission?

The U.S. participated in its first CIVPOL mission in 1994 in Haiti and today has deployed more that 10,000 officers. The Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs recruits U.S. Police Officers from all over the country. These Police Officers are deployed around the globe in support of international peacekeeping operations. Over 50 countries participate in these missions.
